Daleel Sudan Story
One of COVirtual Hackathon initiatives powered by 249Startups .
In our efforts as 249startups to always be part of identifying solutions and also given the uniqueness of the situation abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Health, we came up with the COVirtual hackathon to provide tailor-made solutions to the challenges which have arisen as a direct result of the coronavirus spread across different tracks and challenges. It is very likely for this pandemic to devastate the Sudanese economy, and the most vulnerable segment, which is The Micro- Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will be badly hit that is why we selected this to be our first track of focus.
Building on the study that we conducted over 120+ MSMEs , we noticed that there is unavailability of information about retailers or logistics providers . This is why our team built “Daleel” which is a platform to provide free information of markets , stores , online business and apps in addition to delivery providers operating in sudan inorder to provide open reference for information to help consumers and businesses sharing their values .
